The attacker has already been arrested by the authorities.
A Venezuelan worker, identified as Rafael Aguilera, was seriously injured following being stabbed by a Chilean co-worker at an Agrosuper plant, located in the town of Rosario, Rengo, O’Higgins region, in Chile.
According to the La Vinotinto newspaper, the victim received five stab wounds, two of them in the face, compromising one of his eyes. The other attacks would have been on different parts of the body.
The event was recorded during the followingnoon of this Friday following an altercation between employees inside the Agrosuper Plant in Rosario for reasons that are still unknown.
Preliminary information indicates that the attack began in the company’s locker room, where the affected worker was seriously injured due to assault with a knife. The attacker, identified as Diego Sandoval, was arrested.
Police versions indicate that the young Venezuelan was operated on and has a reserved prognosis.
