Chile attacks Venezuela instead of addressing its internal problems

Caracas.- The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, rejected the recent statements issued by the Chilean Foreign Minister, Antonia Urrejola, where she referred to a possible restart of talks between the national government and the Venezuelan opposition.

The second president of the Executive power of the country linked the Chilean representative with the secretary general of the Organization of American States, Luis Almagro, assuring that it obeys an intention on the part of this organization once morest Venezuela. In this sense, he criticized that the Chilean government, in his opinion, ignores the problems of violence that are registered in the southern nation.

Let us remember that, earlier, the Spanish Foreign Minister, José Manuel Albares, and his Chilean counterpart, Antonia Urrejola, defended the need for the Venezuelan Government and the opposition to resume negotiations with a view to the nation being able to hold new elections in the national territory.
