Child Rights Commission Takes Action on Navakerala Sadas Incident: Malappuram DEO Under Investigation

Thiruvananthapuram: The State Child Rights Commission has filed a voluntary case in the incident where students were instructed to participate in the Navakerala meeting in Malappuram. The Child Rights Commission has ordered the Malappuram Deputy Director of Education to investigate the incident and submit a report within a week.

Tirurangadi DEO Vikraman gave strict instructions to the students in the Navakerala assembly in the meeting of the headmasters. DEO Vikraman issued an order saying that only disciplined children should be brought to the program and students who create trouble should not be allowed to participate.

Following this, there was widespread protest once morest the DEO in the district. The DEO responded that his proposal was misunderstood in the protest.

Meanwhile, KSU State Vice President P. Muhammad Shammas filed a petition in the High Court.

In the petition, it has been pointed out that the Chief Minister’s mind is perverse, and that the government is abusing the schools and students of the state in the name of the New Kerala audience.

According to Pannyan Panchayat President Asokan, the students of Champat LP School were dropped on the road. Muhammad Shammas filed a petition in the High Court.
