Child drowned in Tyrol in summer: father arrested

The accident happened in August last year. A six-year-old boy drowned in the Kitzbüheler Ache near St. Johann in Tirol.

Before that, his father is said to have been attacked by an unknown perpetrator. After that, the health-impaired child climbed out of the stroller and then drowned – at least that was the version at the time.

As the Kronenzeitung reported now, but everything might have happened quite differently. Because the father was arrested by the police on Monday. The father’s lawyer confirmed this to the daily newspaper.

Father ‘vehemently’ denies allegations

According to the lawyer, the man is accused of killing his son and throwing him into the river to put him out of his misery. The father denies that “vehemently”, is the lawyer of the Krone quoted.

According to the lawyer, there is no evidence, just three clues: the man is said to have carried the bottle with which he was knocked down in the stroller himself, and he is said to have thrown his mobile phone in a garbage can. In addition, the injuries are not consistent with the fact.

“These are not solid indications,” said the arrested father’s lawyer Krone.
