MISURI, United States.- A passionate fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, known as the ChiefsAholic, has been arrested in Lincoln, California for allegedly committing a bank robbery.
The United States Attorney’s Office has filed charges once morest Xaviar Michael Babudar, 28, who is also a well-known gambler.
Babudar is accused of robbing the Tulsa Teachers Federal Credit Union in December 2022, and became a fugitive following removing his ankle monitor in March 2023

According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Babudar is suspected of carrying out a series of robberies at various banks and credit unions throughout the Midwest. In addition, he is accused of laundering stolen money through casinos and bank accounts in the region.

The defendant allegedly bought and redeemed more than $1 million in chips from various casinos in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois between April and December 2022. It is suspected that he used these chips to launder money obtained from robberies committed in different states.

Investigation reveals that Babudar was involved in multiple purchases and redemptions of casino chips at the Argosy Casino in Riverside, Missouri. After depositing into his money market savings account an amount similar to what he had stolen from the Great Western Bank in Clive, Iowa, amounting to $70,000.

Xaviar Michael Babudar will appear in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California in Sacramento next Monday. A federal grand jury will hear the charges brought once morest you and take appropriate legal action.
