He pointed out that “Article (15) of the Commission’s law in force obligates all state departments and institutions to provide it with the documents, priorities and information it requests related to the case that is to be investigated or investigated, and to cooperate with it to enable it to perform its investigative tasks,” noting that “the Commission, for its part, guarantees within Carrying out its investigative duty not to interfere in the work of ministries and institutions, and to respect the legal powers and specializations of their leaders and employees, while its investigators carry out investigative procedures separately and without negatively affecting the work, specializations and powers of technicians and those concerned with those institutions.
The head of the authority reaffirmed that “control operations are among the basic tasks in the oversight work, and leave a positive impression on the citizen towards state institutions in general and oversight agencies in particular. This contributes to restoring citizens’ confidence in these institutions, especially since they are “thirsty for the government to implement its ambitious program” and not to impede reconstruction, investment and development operations due to corruption. On behalf of the government and the judiciary to support oversight work and facilitate the work and support of the Commission’s teams; to do its job effectively.”

The head of the commission’s visit to Anbar province included a meeting with the head of the provincial court of appeal, Judge (Abdullah Muhammad Abd), at the court’s headquarters, where they discussed ways to raise the levels of cooperation and joint coordination between the national oversight agencies and the judicial system. In order to support anti-corruption efforts, improve its work mechanisms, and raise the level of coordination and cooperation between investigative judges and investigators of the Commission whose investigations are conducted under the supervision of the judiciary, and remove some routine episodes that would delay the completion of corruption cases.
