Ashwin says that getting everything on time is the biggest thing in Pujara’s life. Ashwin adds that if he decides something at a time, there is no difference in it. “Pujara used to set the alarm at 7.30 to eat an apple. At that exact time, Pujara used to eat apples.”- says Ravichandran Ashwin through his YouTube channel.

Along with this, India’s fielding coach Dileep also spoke regarding Pujara’s accuracy on the field. “When we were in South Africa, Rahane and Pujara were eating at 7.30 pm. After that Pujara came to me. Then he said like this – Sir I want to take one more catch of 20. Pujara was engaged in batting practice for two hours that day. But still Pujara returned following taking 20 more catches and completed the training. “I have never seen such a cricketer in my life,” says Dileep.

Pujara is currently playing in India’s domestic tournament, the Duleep Trophy. Pujara is playing for the West Zone team. Pujara also scored a stunning century for the West Zone team in the semi-finals of the Duleep Trophy. Pujara scored 133 runs off 278 balls in the match.
