Chest pain: Tucuman specialist explains when you should worry and consult

The head of the Cardiology Unit of the Néstor Kirchner hospital, Paul Nazca, explained that the main causes of chest pain and the most worrying are of cardiac origin, either due to a problem with the heart or the aortic artery that leaves the organ and is the most important. “When problems of lack of irrigation in the heart occur -such as what is called angina pectoris or the heart attacks themselves- what the patient perceives in general is chest pain. So too chest pain is perceived when there is a risk of the aorta rupturing,” he said.
