A Chery it’s at Huawei presented the car Luxeed S7 this week. It is an electric sedan that arrives with the mission of rivaling and even surpassing the Tesla Model S. In general, the model is the first from the new brand called Luxeed and is built on the E0X platform.
For those who don’t know, this platform is developed to accommodate two electric motors, which are supported by a battery pack manufactured by the company CATL. Furthermore, the car stands out for having Huawei ADS 2.0 technology, an autonomous driving technology.
Features present include a roof-mounted LiDAR system, as well as 12 ultrasonic sensors, 3-millimeter wave radars and 11 high-definition cameras. Due to the partnership with Huawei, it is not surprising that the car uses the Chinese brand’s system, therefore, it will hit the market debuting HarmonyOS 4.
With the configuration mentioned above, the expectation is that the new sedan will be able to offer a range of around 700 km. Other details were not provided, but the director of Huawei’s Automotive Unit, Richard Yu Chengdong, stated that the idea is to surpass the Tesla Model S in several aspects.
