Beloved ARIA Award-winning singer Zulya Kamalova died on Wednesday at the age of 55 after a long battle with cancer.

The singer was born in Russia in 1969 and moved there Melbourne in 1991, where she lived and performed for many years.

‘Zulya left us today, shortly after her 55th birthday. She was with her daughter and husband in her final hours,” she wrote.
