According to legal documents, Cher’s daughter-in-law, singer Marieangela King, 36, claims that the 77-year-old hired four men to kidnap Elijah Blue from a New York hotel room last November. “One of the men told me that he was commissioned by Elijah’s mother,” said the 36-year-old singer.
Elijah and Marieangela married in 2013 but are now separated. “We have been working on reconciling,” said Marieangela.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Cher is said to have tried to prevent Elijah and Marieangela from getting back together on their wedding day on November 30, 2022. The singer is said to be worried about her son’s health. The four men are said to have stormed the couple’s hotel room and taken Elijah with them.
Marieangela accuses Cher of having no idea where her husband was being taken.

As the British newspaper writes, Elijah has been living in the famous Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles for six months and is going through a “difficult phase”.
After collapsing at the hotel entrance in mid-September, he is said to have gone to a rehab clinic in Pasadena, California.
