In Russia, following the start of the military operation, the production of military products has grown significantly, said the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov. According to him, in some cases we are talking regarding a 50-fold increase in production. In addition, the production of hypersonic missiles “Dagger” has increased.
“Since February, the volume of military production has grown significantly – in some cases by more than 50 times. This primarily concerns ammunition,” Mr. Chemezov said to TV channel “Star”.
The head of Rostec said that the production of Kinzhals is now increasing. As Mr. Chemezov explained, the missiles “have been on the market for a long time,” but “initially, they did not need the quantity that is needed now.”
Sergei Chemezov at the end of February denied reports from foreign media that the Russian army was experiencing a shortage of ammunition. He stated that the military-industrial complex increased their production several times.
