French midfielder N’Golo Kante, the star of Chelsea, shocked the Saudi victory and Barcelona, in an agreement with the Blues to renew his contract.
The Athletic website confirmed that the London club held positive talks with Kante and his agent, and ended up agreeing in principle to the renewal.
He explained that Chelsea made an offer for a two-year renewal with the possibility of extending it for another year, but the player wants to continue for 3 full seasons with the team.
It is worth noting that the 31-year-old, who has also been linked to joining Paris Saint-Germain, is currently suffering from a thigh injury that will keep him out of action until mid-February.
