Chelsea had originally taken the lead twice in that match. Cole Palmer opened the scoring in the 44th minute from the penalty spot. He did not waste the golden opportunity given. The 1-0 score lasted until halftime.
After only two minutes of the second half, the visitors managed to equalize. The goal was scored by Josh Cullen.
Chelsea continued to press following that. Attack following attack was carried out. Finally, these efforts bore fruit in the 78th minute. Once once more, Cole Palmer put Mauricio Pochettino’s squad at the front.
However, this advantage once more did not last long. In the 81st minute, Burnley scored an equalizer through Dara O’Shea. The Chelsea vs Burnley match finally ended 2-2.
