English club Chelsea announced on Saturday that it has signed veteran Senegalese international defender Kalidou Coulibaly, for a period of four years, from Napoli, in a deal estimated at $40 million.

Chelsea Football Club has decided to sign defender Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, Italy, in a deal reported to be worth regarding 34 million pounds ($40 million).
Coulibaly, 31, became Chelsea’s second signing of the summer, following signing striker Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
And the British news agency “BA Media” stated that Coulibaly signed a four-year contract with Chelsea, to strengthen the team’s defense following the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
“I am very happy to be with this team here at Chelsea, it is a great team in the world, and it has always been my dream to play in the Premier League,” Coulibaly told the Chelsea FC website.
