Chelsea continued their dominance in the second half, with Palmer winning a penalty in the 64th minute and converting it to complete his hat-trick. Everton’s disappointment resulted in J. Tarkowski and M. Keane receiving yellow cards in the 52nd and 66th minutes respectively. After this, Chelsea made a number of substitutions: N. Madueke, B. Chilwell, C. Casadei, M. Gusto and David Washington entered the field. The match ended successfully for Chelsea: A. Gilchrist scored in the 90th minute, securing a confident victory with a score of 6:0. Everton tried to save their pride with late changes, bringing on J. Harrison, A. Gomez, N. Patterson and B. Godfrey, but it was too little, too late – Chelsea emerged as absolute winners.
