Palmer opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a clinical strike and then added another goal just five minutes later in the 18th minute. Everton’s J. Garner was shown a yellow card in the 28th minute, followed by another goal from Palmer in the 29th minute. As tensions mounted, Everton’s A. Young and Chelsea’s M. Mudryk were shown yellow cards before N. Jackson scored a stunning goal in the 44th minute to make it 4-0 to Chelsea at half-time.

Tarkowski and M. Keane receiving yellow cards in the 52nd and 66th minutes respectively. After this, Chelsea made a number of substitutions: N. Madueke, B. Chilwell, C. Casadei, M. Gusto and David Washington entered the field. The match ended successfully for Chelsea: A. Gilchrist scored in the 90th minute, securing a confident victory with a score of 6:0. Everton tried to save their pride with late changes, bringing on J. Harrison, A. Gomez, N. Patterson and B. Godfrey, but it was too little, too late – Chelsea emerged as absolute winners. Overall, Chelsea showed their attacking prowess and defensive solidity, Everton will need to rebuild and come back stronger in their next match, while Chelsea will be buoyed by this impressive display to continue their quest for Premier League success.
