This round also saw Leicester City beat Leeds United 1-0, Aston Villa beat Southampton 4-0, Brentford beat Norwich 3-1, and Crystal Palace beat Wolverhampton 2-0.
Chelsea’s goals were scored by Reyes James in the 47th minute, Kai Havertz “two goals” in the 52nd and 55th minutes, and Christian Pulisicchi, in the 69th minute.
Chelsea raised its score to 53 points in third place, and Burnley’s balance stopped at 21 points in the eighteenth place.
