According to Yonhap News coverage on the 21st, the Jongno Police Station in Seoul charged Jung with special assault, special intimidation, and insults, and is investigating.
Previously, it is known that Mr. A, an acquaintance of Jung, filed a complaint to the police in August last year, saying that Jung assaulted him and another colleague in Hawaii, USA, when he visited to film a personal broadcast.
Person A is also said to have claimed that Jung threatened her by holding a kitchen knife to her neck.
According to the police, Jung admitted to some of the charges during the police investigation.
Jeong, a 4-year-old Korean-Japanese, made his name known when he appeared on JTBC’s ‘Take Care of My Refrigerator’.
It was also belatedly known that Jung was caught driving in a state of intoxication that exceeded the license revocation criteria on a road in Jung-gu, Seoul at the dawn of May 9 last year and was fined.
