Food CRITIC Codeblu, who courted controversy with what he called an honest review, defeated celebrity chef, Chef Arnold Poernomo in the 5th series of the Holywings Sports Show boxing match held at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno Complex, Senayan, Sunday (21/4 ).
The boxing match was exciting because both Codeblu and Chef Arnold prepared well for the match.
From the first round, the two of them were already buying and selling blows. Chef Arnold then dominated the second round by knocking down Codeblu.
Even Codeblu didn’t just fall once. Towards the end of the second round, Codeblu fell once more. However, Codeblu managed to get up and continue the match.
In the third round, things started to turn around. At the start of the round, Chef Arnold received a heavy punch to the jaw. This crushing blow knocked out Chef Arnold so he mightn’t continue the match. The referee decided to stop the match and gave Codeblu a knockout victory.
“Thank God Almighty, I want to apologize to everyone, including those who don’t like me. Chef Arnold is much stronger than me, I’m just more reckless,” said Codeblu in his victory speech.
A few days before the match, Chef Arnold said he viewed this boxing match as a sporting sport. So, he doesn’t have the burden of having to win.
“Even if you lose, it’s okay, whatever netizens want to say, it’s up to you. Why? I’m better than before, I’m healthier than before and getting into the ring is not easy,” stressed Chef Arnold. (Z-1)
