Checo Pérez joins a well-known brand in a speed competition to prepare the "Paloma Perfecta"

On September 8, the exclusive Tequila Patrón party was held at the JW Marriott in Guadalajara, attended by great Mexican icons and allies of the brand such as Sergio “Checo” Pérez, Robe Grill, Josemaría Torre and Gil Cerezo to enjoy the flavor and freshness of the stellar drink ‘La Paloma Perfecta’.

During the celebration, the ‘Pit Stop Challenge’ was held, a speed competition between two teams, Checo and Robe vs. Chema and Gil, to prepare an icon of Mexican cocktails, perfected with Patrón Tequila. Ricardo Nava, Bacardi Advocacy Lead for Mexico, shared with the attendees the ingredients of ‘La Paloma Perfecta’ and gave a sample of its preparation.

Subsequently, time was taken and the teams began making the cocktail; Checo and Robe took the lead, however, Ricardo gave a couple more minutes so that both teams could perfect their drink and recognize, in addition to speed, the flavor, presentation, dedication and passion, which highlight the delicious creations of Patron Tequila.

Daniel Aliaga, vice president and Director of Bacardi México, congratulated the participants and announced the winners of the lively ‘Pit Stop Challenge’: Checo Pérez and Robe. “La Paloma Perfecta is with Patron Tequila. Thank you all very much for joining us to begin the celebration of our Mexican pride in this very important month and for sharing this unique moment with us,” he mentioned.

‘La Paloma Perfecta’ is a tribute made by Tequila Patrón to the distillate that puts our country on high, an iconic drink from Mexico, which, in addition to the rested distillate, uses natural ingredients to enhance all the flavors of our land: grapefruit, mineral water, agave syrup, lemon and salt.
