Confirming a last-minute rumor, the Apple today announced another event for this year, which will take place on October 30th and, most likely, will feature the launch of new Macs as the main attraction.
While the big day doesn’t arrive, what has been attracting attention (more than usual) is the art used by Maçã for the event, this time titled “Scary fast” — probably a pun on Halloween (celebrated a day later) and the speed of their new computers.
With a dark background, the new invitation’s art first forms the Apple logo (the traditional bitten apple) and then the Finder icon (also often used as a reference to macOS itself) — which looks frighteningly eccentric in this context.
As always, the designer Basic Apple Guy prepared wallpapers inspired by the event invitation — this time, with two versions to represent the two “phases” of the animation released by Apple.
