Blizzard has just released the full patch notes for the update 9.2.5 of Shadowlands, which will roll out next week. On the program, cross-factions, new questlines for Blood Elves and Dark Iron Dwarves, a new PvP Arena and more. Find all the details below.

Shadowlands Content Update 9.2.5 arrives on June 1 and comes with a plethora of new features and experiences, including cross-faction play, new questlines for Blood Elves and Dark Iron Dwarves, a new PvP arena and more!
ACHIEVEMENTS
- All achievements related to Covenant Sanctums are now visible and count towards your character’s achievement point total, regardless of Covenant. However, all characters must belong to a covenant to unlock the achievements attached to it.
- The prerequisites ofTormented Mountaineer now requires Trial of the Jailer: Tier 4 (down from Tier 8).
- The description of the achievement dancing dervish now indicates that the reward is a toy.
- The anima vats required for Kaal-vaire of the depths now respawn following General Kaal resets and the Smash debuff! is no longer removed by immunity effects.
- Fixed an issue where the Enlightened faction was not being considered for the achievements of exalted reputations.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from earning achievements Azeroth at War.
CHARACTERS
- The experience point reduction applied to characters level 51-60 in party sync has been removed.
CLASSES
- DEATH KNIGHT
- Fixed an issue where Bone Shield charges consumed by Grave (Talent) were not reducing Drain Blood’s cooldown by the intended amount.
- WARLOCK
- Fixed an issue that allowed Tithe Despoiler (Kyrian Ability) to grant both death and survival effects when used once morest certain enemies.
INSTANCES INTER-FACTIONS
- Players can now directly invite members of the opposing faction to a group if they are friends via the BattleTag or real name system, or if they are members of a community World of Warcraft inter-factions.
- Predefined groups in the Group Finder lists for Mythic Dungeons, Raids, Arenas, and Rated Battlegrounds are now open to candidates from both factions, although the group leader can choose to narrow the list to candidates of the same faction if desired.
- The communities World of Warcraft can now choose to become cross-faction. However, guilds remain reserved for characters of the same faction.
- Random activities like Heroic Dungeons, Skirmishes, or Random Battlegrounds all remain restricted to characters of the same faction.
- The following instances are not cross-faction:
- The champion’s test
- The test of the crusader
- Vault of Archavon
- Icecrown Citadel
- Baradin Stronghold
- Siege of Boralus
- Battle of Dazar’alor
- Nightmaul Citadel (Exile’s Reach Dungeon)
DUNGEONS AND RAIDS
- SEPULCHER OF THE FOUNDERS
- Cross Realm Raids are now available on Mythic difficulty.
- MYTHICAL+
- With the arrival of cross-faction instances, the achievement Heroic Cryptomancer: Shadowlands Season 3 Now requires being in the top 0.1% of Mythic+ in your region.
ITEMS AND REWARDS
- Trader Honor Mark now increases your active covenant’s renown to level 60 (was 40).
- Renown catch-up is accelerated up to Renown level 60 (down from 48).
- Completing these activities now has a 100% chance to grant 1 level of Renown:
- Mythic and Mythic+ Dungeons
- Torment Tiers 9-16
- Defeat a raid boss from Shadowlands
- Win a rated battleground
- Rewards from Callings now contain twice as many Grateful Offerings, although they still scale with the upgrade level of your Covenant’s Sanctum Anima Driver.
- The reward for the Zereth Mortis weekly quest, “Infinitely Interlocking Patterns”, now includes Grateful Offerings.
- Fixed an issue where transmogs from the Blizzard Shop would sometimes temporarily disappear from your collection.
- Fixed an issue where the Grelot battle pet was listed as “Unknown” when summoned. The size of his crown and candy cane has also been corrected in the mascot codex.
PLAYER AGAINST PLAYER
- NEW ARENA: CRUCIBLE OF ENIGMA
- SOLITARY MELEE SHOCK
- The minimum level required to access the clash has been increased to 252 (was 239).
- Fixed an issue where players were missing certain abilities between rounds.
- Fixed an issue that prevented a round from being reset if two opposing player characters died simultaneously.
- DEATH KNIGHT
- The damage reduction of the Anti-Magic Zone spell has been increased to 50% (instead of 20%) in PvP.
- The PvP talent Ancient Shadow Dome has been removed.
- WARLOCK
- Demonic Embrace now increases your stamina by 20% (down from 10%) in PvP.
- Demon Armor PvP talent has been removed.
- AFFLICTION
- New PvP Talent: Shadowfall. You receive the Twilight talent with a 100% chance to benefit from its effect. If you already have this talent, you can choose another one from the same row.
TRADES
- Experience point gains increased by 400% when crafting specialized armor or jewelry to create Rune Carving items.
QUESTS
- Blood Elves can now start a quest to earn a new mount, weapon skin, and Blood Knight Armor and Signet Set for Blood Elf Paladins. To do this, they just need to talk to Liadrin in Oribos. Requirements: Level 60 and Exalted reputation with Silvermoon.
- Dark Iron Dwarves can now quest to earn new mount and weapon skins. To do this, they just need to speak to the anvil thane Thurgaden in the Shadowforge city, in Blackrock Depths (accessible with the Mechanical Mole). Prerequisite: level 50.
TORMENT, TOWER OF THE DAMNED
- All wings are now open (instead of 2 per week).
- Tiers 1-8 are now unlocked by default.
- Tiers 9-12 now unlock following completing Tier 8.
- Tiers 13-16 now unlock following completing the previous tier.
USER INTERFACE AND ACCESSIBILITY
- All search filter drop-down menus now include a button allowing you to easily remove all active filters.
- The default gauntlet-shaped cursor now has a new, improved resolution so you can scale it properly in the Interface Options under Accessibility.
- The player reporting menu has been revised and new categories have been added.
