Among the most eventful stories in the history of gaming, Cyberpunk 2077 might easily occupy the first page of the encyclopedia. Released in a disastrous state before gradually recovering over two years of constant updates, it’s now one of the most acclaimed open-world role-playing games around. Which explains the excitement around its Phantom Liberty DLC, which should bring a whole new chapter in V’s story, and a whole new area to visit in Night City. Add to that the participation of Idris Elba in a scenario with planetary stakes, and you have an explosive cocktail that we expect on the opening night of the Summer Game Fest, on June 8th.

You may or may not have heard of it, but the collaboration between Electronic Arts and the International Football Federation ended in 2022. In other words, the FIFA game franchise is over, leaving a big void in the very popular genre of football simulations. If FIFA claims to be working on its side on a new genre of games involving in particular the dreaded NFTs, Electronic Arts has taken its destiny into its own hands to provide its own license for football games: EA Sports FC. However, we are still waiting for images of this important project, images which might arrive at the beginning of July during the EA Play conference. Case to follow.
1 – Starfield
How not to talk regarding Starfield in this context of Summer Game Fest. Bethesda’s project will be revealed to us in detail during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on June 11 at 9 a.m., where a show specially dedicated to it will also be broadcast. As a reminder, Starfield is the next solo game from Bethesda, an open world role-playing game transporting us to an unknown universe where humanity has already set out to conquer the stars. We obviously expect a behemoth game, both technically and in terms of its lifespan, enough to make us wait until Elder Scrolls 6.
