O Instagram is used daily by millions of people around the world. Belonging to Meta (formerly Facebook) since 2012, it allows you to share moments that you consider most important or fun – either through feed posts, Stories or Reels.
We’ve already given you some really cool tips to get the most out of this social network. Now, we decided to gather five more basic tricks that can expand your experience with it.
Easily switch between accounts
Do you have more than one account registered on Instagram? To switch between them, just double tap on your photo (in the lower right corner) to switch between accounts super-fast.
See more details of a photo/video in the feed
Since the early days of the iPhone, Apple has offered the pinch gesture to zoom in on content like a web page or a photo in the Photos app. The good news is that this works on Instagram too.
If you want to see some detail of a photo or video posted in the feed, use the same gesture to zoom in/out.
Save your Reels locally
Do you usually capture and publish videos in Reels format? So know that you can save them locally following the edits made within the Instagram app.
To do this, swipe from left to right from the feed (so that the Stories screen appears). Then go to the gear icon (in the upper right corner) and on “Reels”. Finally, activate “Save reel to device”.
Stories sharing settings
In addition to being able to limit who can see your Stories, you can also choose whether or not people can add your posts to their Stories, whether or not they can share them in a message, and also whether you want to share them automatically on Facebook .
To make these adjustments, open the Stories screen, tap the gear (in the upper right corner) and go to “Story”. Make the necessary adjustments in the “Sharing” section.
Record a Stories hands-free
Are you from the team that loves to record several Stories a day? A tip that might be interesting is the possibility of doing this without necessarily keeping your finger pressed on the record button.
To do this, open the Stories screen, tap the down arrow and go to “Hands free”. Then tap once and release the center button to start recording Stories.
