If you follow our tips and tutorials, you may have noticed recently that we talk a lot regarding Apple Vision Profirst virtual/augmented reality headset.

In order not to lose the habit, we decided to give five other cool tips for the lucky owners of the device, which is only available in the United States (at least for now).

Let’s go to them?! 😄

Recenter your view

As a “spatial computer,” Apple Vision Pro allows you to position apps wherever you want in space. If you want, you can recentralize all of them at once.

To do this, just keep pressing the Digital Crown for two seconds.

Do a search

Just like on the iPhone, iPad and Mac, you can also search for content stored on your Apple Vision Pro or on the web.

To do this, look up (until a little arrow appears) and tap it. Then, select the Control Center icon (the third one, from left to right) and then the button with the magnifying glass symbol.

Disable sound effects

Tired of visionOS sound effects, which always play when you open an app or interact with a control? It’s very simple to disable them.

Open the Settings app (Settings), tap “Accessibility” and enter “Audio & Visual”. Then, deactivate the option “Sound Effects”.

Different ways to type on the visionOS keyboard

There are several ways to type on the visionOS virtual keyboard. The best known of these is to physically touch each letter with one finger, on the virtual keyboard in front of you.

However, you can also simply look at each letter and make the selection gesture (putting your thumb and index finger together).

Change the name of Apple Vision Pro

As with other Apple devices, it is also possible to change the name of your headset. All you need to do is open Settings (Settings) and go to General » About » Name.

Tap the “X” and use the keyboard to type whatever name you want.

So, did you like our selection? 😊
