Algerian singer Cheb Khaled decided to postpone the release of his new album, which was scheduled for Friday, following some of his songs were leaked on the “Telegram” website.
A source close to the Algerian artist revealed in press statements, “The reason for postponing the release of the album is Cheb Khaled’s determination not to release the songs that were leaked, as he is now preparing to record others, and to exclude them from the album.”
The source pointed out that “the date of the new offering has not been set yet.”
He added that “Cheb Khaled is intensifying the search for the cause of these songs being leaked, and he is imposing a fence of secrecy over the details of the new songs for fear that they will also be leaked.”
Cheb Khaled’s new album includes 14 songs belonging to the rai music for which the Algerian artist was famous.
It is noteworthy that the Algerian singer, Cheb Khaled, recently announced the prosecution of the Egyptian producer and concert organizer Walid Mansour, for not paying the rest of his dues for a party he presented in an Egyptian hotel at the end of last year, which Mansour denied, accusing Cheb Khaled of defaming him.
