Cheapest foldable phone ever ready for launch, price and features will surprise you – Life & Style

The Nubia Flip currently holds the record for the cheapest foldable phone on the market, priced at just $499 (approx. One lakh 39 thousand Pakistani rupees). But this record will soon be broken by Blackwave’s upcoming new phone, the Hero 10, which is likely to be available for $425 (roughly more than 118,000 Pakistani Rupees).

Like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Nubia Flip, the Blackview Hero 10 is also going to have a foldable clamshell. Its prices may vary for different countries, but all its features will be lighter than the Nubia Flip.

The Hero 10 won’t be a flagship-grade phone like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and will likely feature mid-range hardware.

The Blackview Hero 10 will have a 1080 pixels resolution and come with a large 6.9-inch AMOLED screen, but will also be limited to a 60Hz refresh rate. There’s no mention of the size of its secondary screen, but it’s quite similar to the Huawei Pocket Two’s external screen, measuring 1.15 inches and having a resolution of 340 by 340. The device weighs 198 grams and is 8.8 mm thin when unfolded.

It will have two cameras on the back, including a 108-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, while the selfie shooter could be 32-megapixel. The phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chip with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space.

Its software will be Android 13.

Blackview hasn’t revealed anything about the phone’s battery, but more information will be confirmed after the Blackview Hero 10 launches next month.
