Cheap Version of iPhone Brings Surprises, Check the Release Schedule – CNBC Indonesia

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Apple plans to launch the iPhone SE next year. The company has prepared special ammunition for its cheapest cellphone product.

Namely the appearance of the Plus model. The report citing sources from Alibaba explains that the model will follow the iPhone 14 Plus.

“The iPhone SE 4 was initially developed for a 6.7 inch size like the iPhone 14 Plus, then the development of a 6.1 inch iPhone model like the iPhone 16 was added,” explained the report, quoted from Digital Trends, Tuesday (22/10/2024).

The Plus variant with a large screen will appeal to those looking for a jumbo device. Compared to the iPhone which is usually smaller at 6.1 inches.

Another report also states that Apple will remove the Plus model in its main iPhone series next year. Reportedly there will be an Air or Slim model later.

So the Plus model on the iPhone SE could fill the gap left by the main iPhone series. At a lower price of course.

Meanwhile, Japanese site Macotakara shared images of what it says is a 3D printed model of the next iPhone SE. As mentioned earlier, the model will be identical to the iPhone 14.

Including the boat-shaped notch on the front. It’s just that the rear camera only has one lens, not two like the one on the iPhone 14.

The iPhone SE will likely have 8 GB RAM. Digital Trends writes that storage is the minimum quota to be able to use Apple Intelligence, features in mobile phones that are based on Artificial Intelligence.

Meanwhile, it is not yet known what chip will be embedded in the iPhone SE in the future. It could be with the A18 processor which is also used on the iPhone 16, but another option is the A17 Pro which can also be used on the iPad Mini.

For the truth of all this information, we need to wait when Apple actually releases its newest iPhone SE.

Apple’s iPhone SE Plans: A Cheeky Overview

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Ah, Apple – the company that could sell you an old shoe and somehow convince you it’s the next must-have accessory. Their plans for the iPhone SE in 2025 (yes, we know it’s still 2024, but Apple loves suspense, don’t they?) promise a tantalizing mix of “cheap but make it fancy.”

The iPhone SE 4: Bigger and Better?

So buckle up, folks, because reports suggest that Apple is cooking up a new iPhone SE – and it’s got a Plus model! That’s right, a model that might be big enough to use as a small pizza. Initially designed for the same size as an iPhone 14 Plus, Apple is looking to bridge that gap, giving the “SE” some serious clout.

In the wise words of Rowan Atkinson, it’s less “Look at my new phone!” and more “Look at my larger-than-life phone!” for folks who prefer their tech with a side of size. Get ready for the iPhone SE Plus, or as I like to call it, “The Extra Large of Parody.”

Serious Specs or Just Clever Marketing?

Word has it that Apple’s bringing in an 8 GB RAM for the SE. Quite the upgrade, especially when you consider all the selfies and cat videos the average user hoards. If you thought managing your storage was tough before, just wait until that AI starts making decisions for you – I can already hear it: “You don’t need another video of a cat falling off a sofa!”

And let’s talk chips – no, not the kind you eat while watching Netflix! There are whispers of either the A18 processor, which is also slated for the iPhone 16, or the trusty A17 Pro from the iPad Mini. Because, obviously, if you’re going to jump in the tech pool, you should at least check the temperature first!

Bye-Bye, Plus; Hello, Slim

Interestingly, it seems like the Plus model has a ticking clock in the main iPhone series – goodbye, Plus! Hello, Air or Slim models. How very minimalist of Apple. It’s as though they’re saying, “Why have a phone that just does it all, when you can have one that does it all… but with just a little less bulge?” Perfect for those who find extra inches to be a bit “too much.”

The SE’s design? A boat-shaped notch inspired by the iPhone 14 because good design never goes out of style—or so Apple would like us to believe. If you’re expecting dual lenses on the back, sorry to break your heart; it seems like this fancy device will only have one. But hey, if you can make art with one lens, why not get artistic with your selfies?

Waiting for the Big Reveal

Now, before we get too excited here (or overly cynical, depending on your disposition), let’s remember that all these details are still in limbo. Apple is great at keeping secrets – almost as good as I am at hiding my bad jokes! So we’ll have to wait and see if the rumors hold water when the official launch rolls around.

In conclusion, whether you’re a staunch Apple lover or a casual observer just looking at the next big thing with a raised eyebrow, one thing’s for sure – the iPhone SE is gearing up to shake things up. Just when you thought you’d seen it all, Apple makes you think again. So hang tight until that next glitzy reveal – and maybe keep those pizza boxes on stand-by, just in case!

But let’s be honest, at the end of the day, it’s still about how it makes you look. Hurry, buy one before your friends beat you to it!
