Che Róga Porã sums up its first housing proposal outside the metropolitan area

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Propósito II condominium project, located in the city of Minga Guazú, Alto Paraná department, is the new real estate proposal that is available on the platform www.cherogapora.gov.py for those interested in accessing their own home, within the framework of the “Che Róga Porã” program.

This is the first housing project outside the metropolitan area, which for the Government constitutes a very important “milestone”, emphasized the head of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat (MUVH) Juan Carlos Baruja, who specified that the condominium has 24 houses available for the citizens of Alto Paraná.

“We are evaluating new projects such as Villarrica, Caacupé and other cities. We are happy because Che Roga Porâ is beginning to reach the interior of the country; it is a commitment made by President Santiago Peña to respond to the working middle class that is living in a rented house,” he said this Saturday in an interview with 730 AM.

The Secretary of State recalled that the program has a national scope and that the objective is to reach the working class, in order to address the historic housing deficit that the country has faced for decades.

“We want the interested party to be able to pay for their home with the same price as their rent. More than 200 people have been approved for credit. The first project in Guarambaré will start on Friday. There are other projects about to start, it is something dynamic, other projects are being added day by day,” announced the MUVH minister.

It is worth mentioning that “Che Róga Porã” currently has 706 homes offered, 498 available, 204 with approved credit and three reserved.

The program is the result of joint and coordinated work with all the construction and academic sectors, under the direction and leadership of the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat.

It is aimed at people with incomes between 1 and 4 minimum wages, with loans of up to G. 400,000,000, with a repayment period extending up to 30 years and an annual interest rate of 6.5 percent.
