Asuncion, IP Agency.- With the launch of My Beautiful Housethe first condominium projects are available for acquiring one’s own home with preferential loans. The Government is preparing other types of housing to reduce the housing shortage.
“There are several products coming and this is the first step; the idea is that the Housing portfolio will cover the entire spectrum of compatriots,” said the president of the Paraguayan Chamber of Construction (Capaco), Guillermo Mas.
The head of the builders’ association highlighted the joint work with the Government to offer housing at affordable prices. The private sector’s investment for this first stage is US$ 25 million, which will have an impact on the economy by generating jobs.
He pointed out that people will have the option to choose the condominium in which they will acquire their first home, available in the program websiteReal estate developers are offering condominiums that will be subject to government-guaranteed loans for an interest rate of 6.5% and a term of up to 30 years.

On the website www.cherogapora.gov.py Individuals will be able to apply for one of the available options and will receive confirmation of prequalification in less than 24 hours. If they prequalify, they will be able to manage the mortgage loan with one of the associated financial institutions.
For the construction of housing, individuals or families must have an income of 1 to 4 minimum wages (Gs. 2,798,309 to 11,193,236).
