Caracas> Camilo Guevara March (60), son of revolutionary hero Che Guevara, has died. He was visiting Caracas and died of a heart attack on Monday. He was the director of the Che Guevara Study Center in Havana, which disseminated Che Guevara’s ideas and actions. He is a lawyer.
Camilo was born in 1962 to Che Guevara and Cuban woman Aleida March. Aleida, Celia and Ernesto are siblings. A daughter, Hilda, born in his first marriage to Hilda Gadia, a native of Peru, had died earlier. Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel tweeted that it is with great pain that he says goodbye to Camilo.
