‘Chaudhry and Sons:’ Hope Ramadan goes well

‘Chaudhry and Sons:’ Hope Ramadan goes well

Ramadan has begun and along with it special broadcasts and special dramas for Ramadan have also graced the TV screens.

These dramas are specially arranged to have fun and humor in them so that the viewer can get out of the seriousness of the whole year and enjoy the drama for a month.

One such drama has started on Geo TV called ‘Chaudhry and Sons’. ‘

The drama is already telling in its beginning that some funny situation is going to happen in the story. One is a girl from Hyderabad and the other is the grandson of a Chaudhry from Hoshiarpur, who has not been passing in the same class for years.

A story based on a joint family system has all the features associated with a joint family system. Since people of all ages are forming a family together, elders also feel young with their grandchildren. What happens in such a situation is that man is not alone inside. There is more tolerance for each other, so this family system is unconsciously preparing a person for the larger social system.

The role of all ages in the play adds to its importance, making it a family drama. The little mischiefs and follies make the story unique, which is why such dramas become more popular as a human catharsis.

Sohail Ahmed is playing the role of Chaudhry in ‘Chaudhry and Sons’ and is doing very well. Noor is receiving praise for his uniqueness in the role of his son. Due to the problems of caste community which remains within every human being, it is being talked about inter alia but it is being done very politely.

Similarly, the grandmother of the heroine of the play is a lively character, who is telling us that once they hear wrong words from the world about their children, they become accustomed to them in the future. We give way to the fire itself, on the contrary, trust our children and reject ‘what the world will say’ by trusting them. Be their friend and be their strength. Relationships become strength when trying to bridge the generation gap.

Grandmothers who read digests are making a living from these stories. She is passing on the same life to her granddaughter whose parents are no more. By the way, the same situation could have been made into a tragedy which has been presented in the style of Tarbiyah. Thus we realize that life is not easy anywhere, we have to make it bearable for ourselves to some extent.

The classic ribbon style that Ayeza Khan has adopted in her hair is looking very good. We guess this style will be seen on this Eid. Pari and Dari’s love and Chaudhary and Balu’s love show the family system that has now become a dream. Arsa Ghazal, Shagufata Ejaz have come out in a very unique way. A nutty grandmother, a chirpy little doctor.

Seeing the doctor, a teenage boy inside Chaudhry wakes up. Something seems to happen to them, perhaps for some reason this marriage could not take place. What is the reason will be known in the next episodes.

From Hyderabad Deccan, Hyderabad, Hoshiarpur and Lahore, the cultural scene of Karachi has become a dialogue, in which the English medium is giving pleasure. A person’s inner identity is spoken somewhere. If that identity survives, not only the individual survives, but the society also survives. If the other’s identity is accepted wholeheartedly, life becomes a happy place. Because the truth is that every person is as unique as their fingerprints, and we have to accept others with that uniqueness. Accepting it instead becomes our biggest flaw and weakness in the relationship.

The main purpose of tarbiya dramas is to keep Gulzarabad. Now it is to be seen that the story which starts with ‘killed,’ ‘the smell of camphor does not rise,’ ‘the ladle of low potency medicine,’ calling the son ‘senior’, being a friend of grandfather and Chaudhry How does it end till Eid?

Now it is to be seen how the magic of Saima Ikram Chowdhury’s pen and production team works, will Pari and Balu ever pass or not, will Pari get married in Dadi’s life or not, and if so, how will it happen?

It is said that every person gets a life partner like himself, so the fairy of Hyderabad and the bull of Lahore seem to be made for each other. Whose peers have completed their education and both of them are traveling for education. But how to meet them?

Let’s see how life’s difficulties can be turned into morals.

Happy Ramadan!
