This Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Châtillon (Metro line 13 Châtillon-Montrouge), the Isikolé school will organize the first edition of the “Isikolé Fest'” Festival.
“The idea of organizing this festival was born from the desire to bring families together. For this, we have planned a huge play area in which children of all ages and adults will find something to have fun, marvel, flourish, create links, share…”, explains Evelyne Gomis, president of said school.
“Education being the heart of our actions, we wanted professionals to be able to answer the questions that arise within families around themes such as the future of children and their school orientation, support in the face of disability, or how to ensure the financial future of your children with peace of mind. We also wanted to organize adult-child workshops that will allow families to get together and share memorable moments: role-playing games, visual arts, team board games… Everything is planned so that family ties are strengthened in the kindness,” she said.
Founded in September 2020, the Isikolé School is part of an approach to promote the cultures and history of Africa, in order to lift the veil on its cultural richness unknown to the general public. A hybrid school halfway between cultural discovery and personal development, it supports children aged 6 to 17 in acquiring knowledge that is not valued in the traditional school system. Isikolé is moving towards an adaptive and benevolent education that allows the child to flourish.
