One week after the launch of the official ChatGPT in the United States, the app has just get to Brazil! Now, we can download and use the famous generative artificial intelligence system on the iPhone, something more practical than accessing the service’s web interface to talk to the robot.
OpenAI — developer of the technology behind ChatGPT, GPT-4 — has ensured that the iOS app has the same features as its web version. This includes access to features such as service subscription and the Whisperthe company’s speech recognition system.
The app is ad-free and syncs your search/chat history across all devices. It should win an app for Android devices and will reach even more countries (earlier today, for example, it landed on another 11 and, together with Brazil, there are now more than 30), as part of the expansion process.
It is worth remembering that other options that were developed from ChatGPT and that even added other features are still available in the App Store. Among the options that we’ve already shown here, there’s Perplexity, which shows the sources of the displayed information, something very important and lacking in the OpenAI system.
