ChatGPT 4: new version will support interaction with images, videos, music and more

Microsoft is investing heavily in ChatGPT, and during the Open AI “All in Focus – Digital Kickoff” event held in Germany on March 9, Microsoft CTO Andreas Braun revealed that the next version of the tool will be released this week with the name of ChatGPT-4 with many new features including support for images, videos and even music.

Holger Kenn, director of strategy and business at Microsoft, also participated in the event explaining that these new capabilities will allow ChatGPT-4 to translate images, videos and music, something impressive and that can allow new interactions with the OpenAI tool, which is now integrated with several Microsoft services.

Initially, fine-tuning of the ChatGPT system will be made available, allowing it to work more accurately in specific cases. The idea comes from the CEO of OpenAI, Sam Altman, who aims to create a platform for selling APIs to third parties for developers to create amazing applications integrated with ChatGPT-4.

Microsoft is supporting OpenAI with cash investments and qualifying corporate customers to train ChatGPT. According to Altman, the effects of these efforts are already reducing the number of incorrect answers given by the tool.

Among the companies involved in this initiative is Coca-Cola, which plans to use ChatGPT and DALL-E to generate messages with images, messages and personalized ads.

More news is expected to be announced during Microsoft’s “Future of Working with AI” event which will be held on March 16 and will focus on integrating ChatGPT into its products such as Microsoft 365.

Finally, Altman added:

We’ll release more stuff soon that will give users additional control over the system to behave this way or that way.
