The game editor SNOW announced that the classic 90s shooter, Chasm: The Riftcrossed time to arrive on Steam and GOG priced at $19.99/€19.99/£17.99 with a reduction of 10% for one week to celebrate the launch.
Originally developed by Ukrainian game development studio Action Forms, Chasm: The Rift was Eastern Europe’s first FPS aimed at an international audience. This completely rebuilt reimagining offers enhanced graphics with full 4K and widescreen support, improved sound design and gamepad support for this 1997 classic, but also provides access to the original version of Chasm: The Rift thanks to DOSBox included as a bonus.
In Chasm: The Rift, players take on the role of a special commando soldier tasked with defending planet Earth from the “Timestrikers”, monstrous mutants that invade Earth throughout history, and destroy their time channels to finally rid Earth of this threat .
