Since July 1 and until August 26, 2023, summer is celebrated with music in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) with the ChartrEstivales. A forty concerts free are provided in the city center. Animations are also on the program…
The ChartrEstivales association has chosen a varied musical register for this 2023 edition.
“Tributes (Johnny Hallyday, Abba, France Gall and Michel Berger, Coldplay, Police), rockabilly, festive rock, French chanson, Celtic or Brazilian music, gypsy jazz, 80s new wave , yé-yé, soul, classical music, theatre, shows for children, and, to close the season, the return of the Bernard Becker Grand Orchestra” are on offer, specifies the City of Chartres.
Free concerts
From July 31 to August 5, 2023, a group will notably revisit the Coldplay repertoire:
Billiard Square: Ouistitibaba – Monday July 31 (concert for children) Place des Halles: Just For Cab – Tuesday 1st of August (Gypsy jazz) Place des Halles: Monokini – Wednesday August 2nd (Pop-Twist-Yéyé) Place des Halles: Cactus Candies – Friday August 4 (Hillbilly-Country Music)
Place Châtelet : Coverplay – Samedi 5 August (Tribute Coldplay)
Note that each concert starts at 9 pm. These musical animations are completely free and without reservation necessary.
