Chart Industries, an American company specializing in the design and manufacturing of equipment for the clean energy and industrial gases markets, won, according to a press release released this Thursdayseveral strategic contracts in the field of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
A major announcement concerns the first LNG regasification units in Morocco, marking a significant turning point in the Kingdom’s energy policy. These units will allow Morocco to reduce its dependence on Spain and the GME gas pipeline for its LNG imports.
This contract will not only contribute to strengthening Morocco’s energy security but also to stimulate local industry and promote sustainable development. The choice of Chart Industries for this project underlines the recognition of its expertise in the LNG sector and its commitment to innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
These contracts also include IPSMR® liquefaction technology for two modular units in the international Big LNG project, a mid-sized plant in Asia Pacific, nitrogen cycle technology for small-scale LNG in North America , and various orders related to LNG infrastructure in Europe, including tanks and fueling stations.
