We imagine it quite far from Elisabeth, a woman dumped by her husband who finds herself alone with her two teenagers in the Paris of the 1980s, forced to look for work for the first time. But Charlotte Gainsbourg is overwhelming in “Passengers of the Night”, by Mickaël Hers (the director of “Amanda”), an impressionist, delicate and nostalgic film where characters meet who hold out their hands, love and emancipate. The 50-year-old actress tells us how she embodied this character, and tells us regarding her new life in Paris, she who had settled in New York following the death of her half-sister, Kate Barry, at the end of 2013.
