Charlotte Gainsbourg received on Monday in Zurich a Golden Eye for her entire career as part of the 18th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF). His latest film, “The almond and the seahorse”, had its world premiere.
Charlotte Gainsbourg is rewarded “for her brilliant career and her versatility” in the cinema, indicated the ZFF. She has collaborated with the biggest names in the 7th art. She counts “among the most eclectic actresses of European cinema”.
“The almond and the seahorse” is inspired by a play by Kaite O’Reilly. Charlotte Gainsbourg shares the poster with Rebel Wilson. The film, directed by Celyn Jones and Tom Stern, tells the story of an archaeologist and an architect whose respective partners suffered a traumatic brain injury.
