American actor Charlie Sheen, star of the series My uncle Charliewas attacked at his Malibu home by a woman who has since been arrested, local police announced Friday.

Los Angeles County law enforcement officers intervened in the actor’s luxurious villa after being alerted to reports of “assault and disturbance,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
The actor was identified as the victim, he said. “The suspect, named Electra Schrock, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, an action that could lead to serious injury” as well as for “burglary,” he added.
She “broke into his home and attacked him when he opened the door,” the sheriff’s office said.
According to the celebrity site TMZ, Electra Schrock, 47, is a neighbor of Charlie Sheen. “She tore Charlie’s shirt and tried to strangle him,” TMZ reports, adding that the actor was seen by paramedics, but was not taken to the hospital.
According to the specialist magazine, this would not be the first confrontation between the two neighbors.
