Charles was jealous of Meghan and Kate.

A prince unpacks: Harry biography shocks the British

London, 01/06/23: Long-awaited and now already revealed: In his memoirs, Prince Harry has given insights into the life and conflicts of the British royals that were previously unimaginable. The book “Spare” was supposed to be published on January 10, but it accidentally ended up in bookstores in Spain on Thursday. Since then explosive details have made their way into the public. Harry raises the most serious allegations in the book once morest his brother Prince William, who is said to have thrown him to the ground and injured him in an argument. The brothers, who were once considered inseparable and affectionately known as “Willy” and “Harold”, have long been in bitter competition. Harry describes William in the book as a “beloved brother” and “greatest adversary”. The palace initially remained silent in the face of the allegations and revelations. But whether this can be sustained seems questionable. There is speculation that the palace will strip Harry and Meghan of their titles as Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Whether it will come to that is uncertain, but one thing seems clear: reconciliation between the quarreling brothers is once once more a long way off.

A prince unpacks: In his book regarding life behind the scenes of the British royal family, Harry also takes his father seriously. Among other things, today’s king feared being outshone by Meghan.

Prince Harry has reportedly accused his father Charles of being jealous of the public attention his wife Meghan and sister-in-law Kate have been getting.

Charles feared that the “new and bright” American actress might steal the limelight from him, Harry writes in his memoirs “Spare” (“Reserve”), which are not due to be published until Tuesday (January 10), but from which various spicy details have already leaked out to the public following accidentally ending up briefly in bookstores in Spain.

Charles said he had ‘no money left’

According to the report, Harry believed his father feared that Meghan had the potential to “dominate the monarchy” and become a second Diana to the public and press.

His father had “experienced this before and had no interest in it happening to him once more,” Harry writes, referring to the popularity of his late mother, Princess Diana. Jealousy is also the reason his father said he had “no money left” to support Harry and his wife Meghan financially.

According to the Daily Telegraph the prince writes in his biography that before his engagement to Meghan, his father asked him if the actress planned to continue working in her profession following the wedding. Charles then said: “My dear son, you already know that we have no money left.” According to the Daily Telegraph, it secured one of the Spanish copies of the book and translated it.

Jealousy of William and Kate too

Charles was also said to have been jealous of the attention William and Kate received, according to the prince. “Willy did everything he (Charles) wanted and sometimes he didn’t want him to do much because my father and Camilla didn’t like it when William and Kate got too much publicity,” the newspaper quoted from the memoir.

His father’s staff once made sure that Kate wasn’t photographed holding a tennis racket at an event because “that kind of photo would have pushed father and Camilla off every front page”.
