Al-Marsad newspaper: Britain’s King Charles left a short and thin handwritten message on the coffin of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, during her funeral today in London.
According to CNN, Charles wrote in the letter: “In loving and sincere memory.”
Charles, 73, became King of the United Kingdom following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8 at the age of 96.
Her death ended a record 70-year reign that began when she was 25.
