Charles De Ketelaere is preparing for a crucial summer on the transfer front and looks set to (temporarily) say goodbye to AC Milan. The Italian club are looking for a solution for the young Red Devil, and it might well be on the side of Club Brugge.
Although De Ketelaere is attracting some interest, AC Milan have no intention of letting the attacking midfielder go permanently. At the moment, there is talk of a loan, which might benefit Club Brugge.
De Ketelaere’s temporary return to Club Brugge has already been mooted, and according to Italian journalist Alessandro Schiavone, the player is seriously considering the possibility. If a loan is preferred over a permanent transfer, Club Brugge would be De Ketelaere’s favorite option.
For its part, AC Milan is considering a loan to a Serie A team. Atalanta, among others, has expressed interest. However, the club only want to rent De Ketelaere with an option to buy, a condition AC Milan opposes.
