Charín Regules, first woman to chair the truck committee at AMDA

Mexico City. Charín Regules Abella – general director of the Kenworth del Este distributor – will become this March 15 the new and first president of the truck committee of the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA), replacing Jorge Madero, who will continue in the Asociation.

This was announced by Jorge Martínez Madero himself in the framework of the inauguration of the AMDA Commercial Vehicles Forum 2022, and urged the members to support the new president and join forces to improve the services and products of this organization for distributors. of heavy vehicles in Mexico.

Charín Regules, who for almost two years has served as vice president of the truck committee of this organization, will be responsible for following up on the strategies and projects of her predecessor to strengthen the network of heavy vehicle distributors, which form a key piece of auto transport and national economy.

During his administration, Martínez Madero promoted different initiatives in favor of heavy vehicle dealers, such as a strategic alliance with the Center for Experimentation and Road Safety (CESVI) Mexico so that the Vinplus system serves as an indicator of prices and general conditions. of heavy semi-new units; promoted the creation of the truck dealer indicator board with the firm G20 Inc. to help dealers be more efficient, as well as participate to obtain more statistical and timely information in conjunction with the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Informatics ( INEGI) and the creation of the Commercial Vehicles Forum as a space for annual dialogue with all the actors in the sector to create clear and precise strategies for the benefit of the members of this sector.
