Following a first conclusive test on the El Jadida Tangier Axis, Chari announces the gradual extension of its activity to the entire Moroccan territory.
Chari launched its first warehouse in Casablanca in January 2020 and then opened a second warehouse in Tangier during the fourth quarter of 2021. These two regional warehouses have enabled Chari’s team to cover more than fifteen thousand grocery stores across the whole of the North Atlantic axis.
Chari announces today the simultaneous opening of seven new warehouses in the cities of Marrakech, Agadir, Khouribga, Meknes, Oujda, Errachidia and Laayoune.
As a reminder, Chari is an e-Commerce application that allows local grocery stores to stock up on all the products sold at their point of sale and to have them delivered free of charge in less than 24 hours. More than five thousand grocery stores use Chari’s services every month with an average weekly order frequency. In addition to monthly organic growth of nearly 15% enabling it to reach an annual turnover of 500 million dirhams in 2022, Chari has also acquired the Karny.ma virtual credit book used by more than fifty thousand points of sale in Morocco.
At the same time as these new warehouse openings, Chari today inaugurated its new headquarters in Casablanca, which hosts a customer service department with around a hundred telesales positions. Chari thus becomes a national player in B2B e-commerce and offers many services to its partners producing consumer brands such as:
– Increased visibility of their products on the Chari application
– Detailed data on the sale of their products on the traditional channel
– Marketing tools to deliver specific messages to grocers
