The Chargers’ very aggressive offseason continues. This time, it was JC Jackson who was seduced by the Californian project.
According to ESPN, he landed a 5-year contract for 82.5 million dollars, of which 40 million guaranteed.
The 26-year-old cornerback, already titled once with the Patriots, comes out of his first four seasons marked by constant progress. Last year he started every game for New England with 8 interceptions.
With Jackson joining Derwin James and Asante Samuel Jr. on cover, as well as Nick Bosa and Khalil Mack on the pass rush, the Chargers defense is starting to look good. At least on paper.
