Jakarta –
Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan’s household drama has not yet been completed. After the ongoing domestic violence (KDRT) case, now there is a second round that has taken place at the South Jakarta Religious Court.
It turns out that Ferry Irawan is not the only one who filed a divorce application at the South Jakarta Religious Court. On the same date, February 7, 2023, Venna Melinda also filed for divorce.
Therefore, at this time, there are two trial agendas at the South Jakarta Religious Court on behalf of the artist couple. Taslimah, Public Relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court, said that the trial would also be held on the same day, only that Ferry Irawan’s lawsuit started a week earlier.
“In this case there are two cases of the same person. The first is Ferry Irawan once morest Venna Melinda whose number is registered with the South Jakarta clerk’s office on February 7 2023 with case number 595/pdtg/2023/PJS. The trial agenda is February 16,” said Taslimah when met at South Jakarta Religious Court.
“Then on the same day Venna Melinda herself also filed for divorce, if earlier (Ferry) for divorce the application I mentioned earlier (case number) 595 was a divorce filed by her husband. Venna Melinda as a wife also filed for divorce, filed for divorce. , the case number is also different, namely 600/pdtg/2023/PJS. So there are two cases,” he continued.
Regarding the differences between the two lawsuits, Taslimah explained that the divorce filed by Ferry Irawan was talak divorce, while Venna Melinda was a contested divorce.
“Yes, one type of divorce is divorce, if another divorce is sued,” he said.
Taslimah then explained more clearly regarding the differences in the requests submitted by Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda.
“If the husband who filed it is a type of divorce, later if the divorce is divorced, the implication is if it is allowed by the panel of judges, later if it is allowed and it is proven that it is permitted to declare divorce, later it will be the husband who will declare divorce in front of the panel of judges,” he explained.
“But if the divorce is contested, the divorce is filed by the wife. If it is granted by the panel of judges, the type of divorce is decided by the panel of judges and may not be reconciled. And it is different if the divorce filed by the husband is divorced, the husband vows divorce following the pledge is pronounced during the iddah period. As long as iddah, the husband can refer once more because it will be new. That’s the difference,” concluded Taslimah.
