Since the viral videos of her concerts, everyone has fallen for Chappell Roan’s music, from the fans who flock to her concerts in their thousands to stars like Elton John, Adele and Coldplay. A brutal rise that saw her inherit the status of star and queer icon overnight and which had already made her react to fame.
In a first video, she declares: “If you saw a random woman on the street, would you yell at her from your car window? Would you harass her in public? Would you walk up to a random woman and say, ‘Can I take a picture with you?’ And when she said, ‘No, what the hell?’ Would you get mad at her?”
