Ugly scenes following the end of the DFB Cup match between Jena and Hertha (0:5): First, a few fans from both camps jumped over the fences and provoked each other. Then regarding 70 supporters of Berlin broke open a stadium gate and poured into the interior. Even pyrotechnics shot the Hertha chaos in the Jena block.
The security service from Jena was on the spot immediately, a folder had to be treated medically following being hit in the face.

Carl Zeiss Jena is now announcing tough penalties: Those who are identified face a ban on the Abbe-Sportfeld, and later a nationwide stadium ban.
A Hertha spokeswoman told BILD: “We are in good and close contact with FC Carl Zeiss Jena to work through the events following yesterday’s game. The first steps towards clarification were taken immediately following the game.”
Graffiti in the guest block
Even before the start of the game, property damage was caused by Berlin fans. They sprayed the wall of the guest block. FCC fans were probably at work on Sunday night, painting over the graffiti in their club colors.
The previously much-discussed Jena fan march remained peaceful. The city of Jena used trams as a blockade to prevent fans from using the former expressway in the direction of the stadium. So only the way through paradise remained.
